Fenugreek (Methi) seeds are loaded with health-benefiting properties. But you end up hospitalized if you eat “Ganja Sabzi’ Thinking That It is ‘Methi’. Confused? In a bizarre case, a family cooks marijuana like a vegetable and eats it thinking it was fenugreek “Methi”. ‘Joint family’ is going viral on social media. They realize it’s a “meth”, not ‘Methi’.
Man in UP named Naval Kishore jokingly gave a packet of weed or ganja to a fellow villager’s son, Nitesh, and claimed it was methi, the latter didn’t realize. He went on to give the packet of weed to his sister-in-law and asked her to make a sabzi out of it. When the family of six ate the Ganja Sabzi’, their health started deteriorating. They asked their neighbors to call a doctor. While the neighbors were at it, the entire family fainted and soon had to be hospitalized.
On interrogating him, Naval Kishore said, “Maine mazak mazak mein ganje ke pattiya de di thi.”
