“Tu Corona Hai!” New Zealand Youtuber, Abused By A Labourer In Chandni Chowk
“I left my job in NZ to bring you closer to incredible India!” reads the Twitter bio of Karl Rock, a popular YouTuber who was recently abused by a labourer in Chandni Chowk.
Recently Karl Rock, a popular YouTuber received praise from Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for donating plasma. Days later, when he was shooting in Chandni Chowk, a man told him, “Tu corona hai” and hurled expletives at him and asks him to ‘get lost’.
Who is Karl Rock? : Karl Rock is from New Zealand and Vlogger has made a name for himself in India, He speaks fluent Hindi, introduces his nearly one million followers on YouTube to our rich culture. After settling down in Gurugram, and creating walkthrough videos in most states of the country.
During a shoot in July, however, at Delhi’s Chandni Chowk, Karl Rock experienced a bit of the reality of this country as well. A laborer who happened to be walking past the vlogger decided to stop and hurl abuses at him, in the middle of his piece to camera.
He basically accused Rock of spreading Coronavirus in India using really filthy language.
Rock has recently recovered from COVID-19 and has donated his plasma in the national capital.
