Rishi Kapoor’s Old Tweet On His Death Goes Viral
Mumbai police have granted 20 people to attend the last rites of Rishi Kapoor who passed away earlier this morning. Daughter Riddhima’s name is missing.
Amitabh Bachchan was the first one to break the news on Twitter, ‘He’s gone ..! Rishi Kapoor .. gone .. just passed away. Yesterday, his brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed to news agency PTI that the actor had been taken to hospital in the morning. Rishi Kapoor’s last rites will be performed today but considering the national lockdown due to coronavirus pandemic, not many people will attend the cremation. Also, on twitter, Rishi Kapoor’s old tweet from 2017 about Vinod Khanna’s funeral is going viral on the internet.
The tweets are from the year 2017, after another legendary actor, Vinod Khanna had died. Rishi Kapoor had tweeted about his funeral.
“Shameful, Not one actor of this generation attended Vinod Khanna’s funeral. And that too he has worked with them. Must learn to respect,” read Kapoor’s first tweet.
In a second tweet, Kapoor added, “Why this? Including mine and thereafter. When I die, I must be prepared. None will shoulder me. Very very angry with today’s so called stars.”
Twitter was quick to point out that Kapoor’s second tweet in a way predicted his own death.
