IPL 2020: Chennai Super Kings AKA CS, who were expected to start off their pre-season camp on Friday for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020, had decided to extend the mandatory six-day quarantine in UAE.
As per the reports, the team took the decision after one fast bowler of Chennai Super Kings, and few of the squad members tested positive COVID-19. The names of the player, support staff and officials are not yet known. The report added that the members tested positive after their arrival in Dubai. On the other hand, sources confirmed to India Today that 12 members of support staff and one pacer have tested positive for coronavirus. The members have now gone into isolation.
All the members of the Chennai Super Kings who have tested positive for Covid-19 are stable and have been isolated. CSK are following all safety protocols, as per the directions of the health officials the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
