Chengiz Movie Rating: 5/10
“Chengiz” is a period-action thriller movie directed by Rajesh Ganguly and led by Bengali superstar Jeet. The film revolves around the underworld mafia of Calcutta in the timeline of ’ the 70s-90s. The story covers the incidents of the lead character Jeet’s life from Rags to Riches. He ruled the Calcutta streets and became the underworld mafia leader because of his daring, power, and vision. The movie covers his life journey in chronicle order with an interesting way of presentation.
Chengiz Review – Funny and Illogical Writing with Worst Execution
Chengiz is an action-packed drama movie with average casting and the same old gangster drama story. I am totally unimpressed from start to finish with the direction, acting, narration, and music. The movie fully relied on tired cliches, predictable plots, and boring acting action scenes. There is no character depth or proper development in the movie. Chengiz’s movie heroes stilted and unnatural, making it more boring and hard to believe. Action scenes were badly choreographed with zero attention.
According to our Chengiz movie review expert, the overall movie was a complete waste of time and money. It lacked the motto, story, and narration. Chengiz failed to continue the class of gangster films among audiences and nothing offer special in 150mins time. If you are not a die-hard fan of actor Jeet then you can skip this.
