On Thursday, the eighty-year-old Kanta Prasad AKA baba saw a huge crowd thronging his shop, thanks to a video post by a Samaritan on social media, well the internet is not that bad. It can really turn the lives of people. Something similar happened with this elderly couple who run a small food joint in Delhi’s Malviya Nagar.
The video was shared by Gaurav Wasan, on his Instagram account @youtubeswadofficial. “80 year old couple selling best matar paneer. Inhe hamari help ko bahut zarurat he,” Wasan wrote while posting the video.
80-year-old Kanta Prasad and his wife have been running a Dhaba’ called ‘Baba Ka Dhaba’ for over 30 years now. During lockdown due to Covid-19, Prasad lost his daily income as people stopped eating outside.
“Ever since the lockdown, life has been very difficult”, Prasad said.
Well, after the video, you can witness a long crowd thronging his shop. Yes, after the video went viral, several people flocked to Baba ka Dhaba to help the couple.
In a new video, Prasad gave a message to everyone. “Sabki madad honi chaiye. Hum akele nahi hain. Duniya me bahutere pade hain jinko khane ke liye dane ke liye ghar nahi hai. Khane ko roti nahi hai (Every local vendor should be helped. We are not the only ones. There are many who don’t have food to eat and house to live),” Prasad said.
